LX Wicks
The LX wick is a uniquely braided, Coreless, flat wick manufactured with stabilizing threads that ensure an optimum burn profile. This allows for a very stable and consistent flame which minimizes, or eliminates, mushrooming while reducing afterglow, smoke and soot.
The LX series of wicks is designed to improve the burning of paraffin and vegetable waxes in containers and pillars.
Wick tester packs contain 2 of each wick size listed.
Some of our larger wick sizes are NST2 treated.
NST2 treatment is designed to help the wick burn better in vegetable waxes.
Please note the suggested use is in general for use with paraffin wax, when using natural waxes a thicker wick size will usually be required, as with all wick / wax combinations testing is the only way to find out which is right for your requirements.
Pack of 10 Wicks £1.00
Pack of 50 Wicks £4.25
Tester Pack Wicks £2.00
RRD Wicks
The RRD wick is a round, cotton core wick that provides increased flow of fuel (wax and fragrance) to the flame. This is especially helpful in containers and votives with high levels of fragrance (greater than 6% or 1oz. per pound), particularily good for use in natural waxes such as soy, palm, etc.
RRD burns with a slight curl, which helps to minimize or eliminate carbon buildup (mushrooming), reduce smoking, and provide a 'self-trimming' effect, which creates a very stable and consistent flame.
NST2 treatment is designed to help the wick burn better in vegetable waxes.
These RRD wicks are all 6" in length.
Pack of 50 Wicks £5.25

Place the Wick Stick into the container full of wax.
A centered Wick Stick tube at the top of the container assures that the wick tab is centered in
the bottom.
